Hi! Thank you for taking the time to visit me. I have been creating figurines since 1973. I began my career in sculpting as a way to entertain my two sons. Frogs, ants, worms, and caterpillars were some of my first creations. We had fun, at least I did! The fun has never stopped for me. My son, Patrick has moved out of state, giving me the opportunity to travel. Jamie has a family of his own now . The best fun of all, right now in my life, is creating figurines for Kayleigh and Alec, my precious grandchildren.
My vision in the art world is to touch your soul and make you smile. Through trial, error, many errors, and perseverance, I have developed my own techniques using glue and finely ground bread, this combination yields a soft, pliable dough for sculpting. ACG Designs have been inspired by past memories and dreams of the future.
My inspirational designs have earned me numerous awards and accolades, including newspaper and television coverage featuring my annual collectible angels, signature dolls, manger sets, and custom wedding cake toppers. My work is not traditional portraiture, yet I am known to capture the wonder of a child or the gentleness of an angel by the features I portray in their tiny faces. My caterpillars, have turned into lovely butterflies waiting to share their gentle beauty with you.
